• The promotion period is from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027, both dates inclusive.
• New principal-card applicants must successfully apply for the Shanghai Fraternity Association Hong Kong Limited UnionPay Dual Currency Diamond Credit Card within the Promotion Period; supplementary cards are excluded.
• The applicant must not have held any credit card or co-branded credit card of Shanghai Commercial Bank in the past 12 months.
• The applicant must accumulate Eligible Spending of HK$7,000 or above within the first 2 months of the new card issuance date and successfully enrol for credit-card e-statement.
• Eligible Transactions refer to retail purchases and online purchases. Exclusions include SFAL Member Restaurant spending, outstanding balance, cash advance, balance transfer amount, Bank Internet Banking, ATM or Mobile Banking bill payments including tax, utilities and insurance payments, all credit-card charges including annual fees, finance charges, late charges and interest, and unposted, unauthorised, cancelled, refunded, fraudulent or other unqualified transactions.
• The HK$500 Free Spending Credit is credited to the cardholder's HKD credit-card account within 2 months after the Spending Period.
• If a new cardholder applies for more than one Bank credit card during the Promotion Period and uses more than one Bank credit card to fulfil the welcome-offer spending requirement, the cardholder is entitled to one welcome gift only.
• If the new cardholder cancels the Eligible Credit Card within 12 months from the date of welcome-gift redemption, the Bank charges an administrative fee of HK$600 to the relevant credit-card account without prior notice.
• The welcome gift is available while stock lasts and is not transferable, returnable or redeemable for cash. If the selected welcome gift is out of stock, the Bank may offer an alternative gift as a replacement.
• The new cardholder's credit-card account must be valid and in good standing during the redemption period.
• The Bank reserves the right to vary, extend or terminate the offer or amend the terms and conditions without prior notice. The English version prevails in case of discrepancy with the Chinese version.
