Transactions must post by the 15th of the following month. Exclusions include instalment amounts, car loan repayments, cash advances, bill and tax payments, insurance premiums, bank fees, online payment-system transactions to designated merchants, stored-value and e-wallet purchases or reloads, financial-service transactions, transfers, fund or stock payments, property payments, charity transactions, unposted, cancelled or refunded transactions, split bills, and unauthorised or fraudulent transactions. Rebate is credited within 90 days after each month. The account must be valid and in good standing when credited. The rebate offsets the statement balance and cannot be withdrawn as cash. It cannot combine with other card promotions except the welcome offer.

    • The rebate is available once per calendar month, capped at HKD500 per month, and cannot be combined with other card promotions except the Welcome Offer. It is credited within 90 days after month end if the account is valid and in good standing.
    • The Bank may debit the rebate or rebate difference after a reversal, cancellation, fraud or abuse causes the qualifying spend to fall below the required amount.
