Simply Cash Visa Card 2% CashBack on non-HKD-posted eligible transactions
Eligibility: Audience: all
Eligible spending: Type: all
Benefit limit: Applies to: CashBack on eligible Simply Cash Visa Card spending · Period: not stated · Type: unlimited
The scheme applies to principal and supplementary Simply Cash Visa Cardholders. Eligible transactions posted in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars earn 2%. Eligible transactions are retail transactions, including online and interest-free monthly instalment transactions. From 28 June 2026, they exclude card-account transfers or top-ups, insurance, bill payments through SC Online Banking, Phone Banking or JET Payment Services, phone or mail orders, gambling, securities brokers or dealers, specified non-financial and financial institution transactions, wire transfers, money orders, wholesale purchases of precious stones, metals, watches or jewellery, charitable social service organisations, government or public services (including tax payments), Octopus Automatic Add Value, cash advances, balance transfers, Instalment Credit, Credit-to-Cash Preferential Annual Rate amounts, financial charges and fees, and unposted, cancelled, refunded, falsified or unauthorised transactions. Cashback for an interest-free monthly instalment is awarded monthly only on the instalment amount posted that month. Cashback appears on the 360° Rewards platform after posting and is not automatically credited to the card account; the minimum cash redemption is HK$50 per account. Rewards are rounded down to the nearest cent. Principal and supplementary transactions count together. The Bank may deny rewards for an invalid or not-good-standing account or if a minimum payment was late in the previous 12 months; refunded transactions may be clawed back, and rewards are forfeited on account closure. The Bank makes the final eligibility decision. The HTML page describes this as 2% CashBack on foreign-currency spending and states that eligible retail and online transactions at any merchants or categories qualify, with unlimited CashBack all year-round. The formal terms define the rate by transactions posted in a currency other than HKD and set the detailed eligible-transaction exclusions.

Self employed: Business Registration Certificate and latest Profits Tax Demand Note. The bank may request more documents.
Eligible spending: Type: all
Requirements: Period spend ≥: HK$15,000.00
Benefit limit: Applies to: Basic CashBack for Eligible Transactions per monthly statement cycle · Period: per statement period · Type: unlimited
The table shows a Monthly Eligible Spending row labelled exactly HKD15,000. It does not state “or above” or give an upper boundary, so eligibility beyond that amount is unresolved. CashBack is credited to the Card account. The 5% total at Designated Merchants includes Basic CashBack; it is not an additional reward. Eligible Transactions are defined by Clause 3 of the Rewards Scheme Terms and Conditions, which is not included on this page. The page says no separate cashback registration is needed. Card application requires Hong Kong residency, age 18+, and annual income of at least HKD96,000; the Bank may request more documents.
This tier applies when Monthly Eligible Spending is HK$15,000 or above.
This rate is for Other Eligible Transactions. Designated Merchant transactions within the Spending Cap use the stated 5% rate; amounts above that cap count as Other Eligible Transactions.
Eligible Transactions include retail transactions, online transactions, interest-free monthly instalments, and Octopus Automatic Add-Value transactions.
Excluded transactions include card-account transfers or top-ups to designated accounts, wallets or FPS; insurance; bill payments; phone or mail orders; gambling; securities; foreign currency, money orders or travellers cheques; financial-institution purchases or services; cash advances; balance transfers; instalment credit; Credit-to-Cash; tax payments; financial charges and fees; and unposted, cancelled, refunded, falsified or unauthorised transactions.
Principal and supplementary card spending is pooled by card account and monthly statement cycle. CashBack is rounded down to the nearest cent.
CashBack appears on the 360° Rewards Redemption Platform and is not credited automatically. The minimum cash redemption is HK$50 per card account.
The Bank may withhold CashBack for an invalid account, poor financial standing, or a missed minimum payment in the previous 12 months. It may recover CashBack after a related transaction is cancelled or refunded. Closing the account forfeits CashBack. The Bank may change or end the scheme.
Monthly Eligible Spending must be at least HK$4,000. No CashBack is awarded for a month below this amount.
The 5% rate applies only at Designated Merchant outlets in Hong Kong. Digital-wallet transactions qualify only if the merchant name appears on the credit card statement.
The 5% includes Basic Cashback. Any Designated Merchant transaction amount above the Spending Cap is counted as Other Eligible Transactions.
